Mobile Internet Senior Manager

Cairo, Egypt

Job Purpose:

  • Develop E2E the Mobile Internet strategy and marketing plan related to all key performance indicators and ensure business alignment across all functions to achieve revenue for Etisalat.
  • Lead the Mobile Internet Products' portfolio & commercial road map aiming to increase customer base and maximize revenues & profitability.
  • Develop and maintain Mobile Internet customer experience to ensure best in class customer experience across touch points with high focus & attention to digital channels, aiming to lead satisfaction scores (TRIM) for Mobile Internet

Main Responsibilities:

  • Building a clear strategy for the MI that insure Maximize the benefits of this platform.
  • Work on Growing Etisalat market share in the Egyptian market in this important and critical growing service.
  • Develop MI acquisition roadmap of activities across all channels, and designing relevant offers and propositions to achieve acquisition targets.
  • Develop MI propositions and ATL calendar to help achieving assigned revenue targets.
  • Managing the product from planning to execution throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Managing team who should be responsible for: gathering, prioritizing product and customer requirements, doing cost benefit analysis for different propositions, defining the product vision, and working closely with other cross-functional departments such as Engineering, Sales, IT, Customer Care, Finance, and other support functions to ensure subscribers base, revenue, and customer satisfaction goals are met.
  • Monitor competition moves and ensure having competitive MI tariff portfolio.
  • Building in depth analysis of MI segment & keeping management informed by preparing reports; making presentations; interpreting information; making recommendations & introducing new reporting criteria for better understanding of customer behaviour.
  • Perform ongoing analysis in terms of acquisitions/revenues per channel to identify the pockets of improvement. (in alignment with the different stakeholders) and possible areas to increase MI penetration.
  • Train & develop the team members' technical & soft skills to build a sustainable team for this vital role among the organization.
  • Building successors for the area to ensure business continuity.
  • Participate in creating the Mobile Internet consumer strategy inlight of the overall consumer strategy and ET Business Plan
  • Lead the creation and implementation of the Mobile Internet marketing calendar related to all key performance indicators and activities ensuring implementation of all activities on time and achieve targets 10%
  • Developing Revenue propositions for Mobile Internet products over three segments consumer prepaid, consumer post-paid & hybrids through ATL (above the line + BTL below the line) campaigns to achieve the function KPI's utilizing the allocated budget (Revenue Target Achievement, Market share, Revenue Share, ARPU)
  • Growing market share and Leading Sales Channels to Develop the GA Performance for MI: Managing sales channels and liaising with multiple cross-functional teams, to develop Gross adds base and performance and to enhance quality of sales, introducing new channels designed to further develop GA and supporting all segments by tactical moves across all channels in different events
  • Building and maintaining in depth understanding of different KPI's & behaviours across Mobile Internet products.
  • Designing any needed retaliatory actions based on competition moves along with preparing regular competition analysis.
  • Lead company's cross-functional departments towards the priorities and goals of Mobile Internet through reviews, meetings and projects to achieve the business plan.
  • Play a strategic central role in communicating the strategy to all the concerned departments, involved in formulating projects and initiatives to increase revenue income.
  • Launched activities in the time plan with the desired customer experience.
  • Coaching MI team to

-- Perform statistical analysis for products KPIs monitoring to identify gaps in performance.

-- Generate new products ideas by conducting brainstorming sessions & looking at best practices.

-- Manage stakeholders such as engineering, sales, IT and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met in the new launched products.

-- Come up with performance development plan based on subordinates' individual skillset.

  • Managing data CE team to

-- Provide regular reporting on product experience and highlight any areas of improvement taking the necessary actions.

-- Secure new products launch quality by running needed prelaunch testing, prepare channels communication documents & training.

-- Ensure a unified experience for all data products across all segments: Prepaid, Postpaid and Hybrids.



Essential Experience:

  • Telecommunications experience is a must.
  • 10+ years of experience in Telecom Marketing or a relevant field.
  • Commercial segment experience.
  • Team Management.
