Monitoring & Evaluation Manager

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience: A Master’s Degree in Agriculture (preferred) or Social Sciences is required, with knowledge of sustainable cotton production. The candidate should have a minimum of three years of progressive experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) within the Better Cotton Project (preferred) or other agriculture projects.

Core Competencies: Expertise in M & E frameworks, tools, and methodologies for sustainable agricultural or development programs.

Strong analytical and reporting skills to support evidence-based decision-making.

Ability to design and implement quality data collection, analysis, and learning mechanisms to improve project effectiveness.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

Proven experience in designing and managing M&E systems, including data collection, verification, analysis, and reporting.

Demonstrated ability to translate M&E findings into actionable insights to inform project strategies and decision-making.

Strong track record of collaboration with field teams, partners, and smallholder farmers to ensure accurate and timely data for program evaluation.

Experience in building capacity and training staff on M & E tools, approaches, and best practices.
