Key Responsibilities
Academic & Classroom Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a Montessori-based prepared environment that promotes material-based, hands-on learning.
- Present Montessori materials accurately and sequentially, ensuring children understand the correct use of each material.
- Facilitate self-directed learning by allowing children to work independently with Montessori materials.
- Ensure materials are complete, clean, well-organized, and accessible at all times.
- Introduce materials according to the child’s developmental readiness.
- Observe children’s interaction with materials and adjust guidance accordingly.
- Maintain classroom discipline through positive guidance and redirection, not punishment.
Material-Based Learning Responsibilities
- Implement hands-on, concrete learning experiences using Montessori apparatus across all learning areas (Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural Studies).
- Encourage learning through exploration, repetition, and self-correction using Montessori materials.
- Rotate and introduce materials to sustain engagement and progressive learning.
- Ensure children learn concepts through manipulation of materials before abstract instruction.
- Monitor material usage to identify learning gaps and plan future presentations.
- Guide assistant teachers in correct handling and presentation of materials.
Student Development
- Support children’s independence, concentration, coordination, and order through material-based activities.
- Foster confidence and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning.
- Identify developmental or learning concerns through material interaction and report to management.
- Ensure emotional well-being and safety of all students.
Planning & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly lesson plans integrating material-based activities.
- Maintain observation records, progress reports, and individual learning portfolios.
- Document student progress based on material mastery and skill development.
Parent & Communication
- Educate parents on the importance of material-based learning in Montessori education.
- Communicate student progress with reference to materials used and skills achieved.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
Professional Responsibilities
- Follow school policies, procedures, and Montessori standards.
- Collaborate with assistants, co-teachers, and school leadership.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development related to Montessori materials.
- Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Certification in Montessori Education (AMI / AMS or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Education / Early Childhood Education)
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Montessori classroom
- Strong command of Montessori materials and presentations

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs25,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
