Mower/Landscaper

Job Summary
Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Mower/Landscaper, where you will play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, string trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently and safely
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, planting, mulching, and weed control to keep properties pristine
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and trowels for planting, soil preparation, and general groundskeeping
• Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, and retaining walls through cleaning and minor repairs
• Assist with snow plowing and de-icing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or excavators when necessary
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools; perform basic mechanical maintenance to ensure optimal operation

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment and power tools for troubleshooting and maintenance
• Proven experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping with a focus on lawn care and landscape maintenance
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment when needed for larger projects
• Knowledge of horticulture principles related to plant health, irrigation systems, and tree care practices
• Skilled in using hand tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks
• Familiarity with hardscape installation and maintenance techniques for patios or walkways
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in diverse weather conditions; attention to detail ensures high-quality results
