Museum Operations Director

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Museum Operations Director to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional visitor experiences, and manage facility, staff, and program execution. This role is responsible for operational efficiency, compliance, and supporting the museum’s mission and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily museum operations, including visitor services and facility management
• Manage staff, schedules, and operational workflows
• Ensure high standards of visitor experience and service quality
• Coordinate exhibitions, events, and public programs with internal teams
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and operational performance
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards
• Manage vendors, contractors, and external partners
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Museum Studies, Arts Administration, Business, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in museum operations, cultural institutions, or similar roles
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and operations
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR27,000.00 per month
