Nail Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for nail care and esthetics, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a professional and hygienic environment. This role involves performing a variety of nail treatments, offering personalized recommendations, and enhancing clients' overall beauty experience through expert techniques and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity.
• Apply advanced techniques such as gel polish application, nail extensions, and intricate nail designs.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in accordance with health regulations.
• Provide clients with consultations on nail care, color choices, and maintenance tips to ensure satisfaction.
• Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, and hair threading when qualified.
• Upsell retail products related to nail care and skincare to enhance client results and increase sales.
• Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills and personalized service.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Stay current with industry trends in color theory, new techniques, and product innovations.

Requirements

• Valid Cosmetology or Esthetician license with certification in nail technology.
• Proven experience in nail care services including gel nails, acrylics, and nail art.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper sterilization procedures.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Familiarity with retail sales techniques and upselling strategies.
• Skills in additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion, hair styling, hair extensions, laser treatments, hair threading, barbering (a plus), and body waxing are desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
