Nanny/Caregiver

Job Overview

We are seeking a loving, calm, dependable, and experienced nanny/mother’s helper to join our family and help care for our 15-month-old twins, while occasionally engaging with our older children (ages 4 and 6).

I work from home, so I’m looking for someone who can truly become my right hand during the day — someone flexible, proactive, reliable, and comfortable working alongside a parent in the home. The ideal candidate is warm, patient, organized, and genuinely enjoys caring for young children while helping maintain a calm, nurturing environment.

This role involves hands-on childcare, toddler meal preparation, engaging play and learning activities, and assisting with keeping the children’s routines running smoothly.

Responsibilities

- Provide attentive and loving care for our 15-month-old twins

- Feed babies meals/snacks and prepare simple, nutritious toddler foods

- Assist with diapering, dressing, soothing, and nap routines

- Engage children in age-appropriate play, sensory activities, reading, and developmental learning

- Help encourage creativity, communication, and positive social interaction

- Maintain a safe, calm, and nurturing environment for the children

- Assist with children’s laundry, bottle washing/sterilization, tidying play areas, and light housekeeping related to the children

- Occasionally help facilitate fun and educational activities for our 4-year-old and 6-year-old

- Help manage daily routines and provide an extra set of dependable hands throughout the day

Requirements

- Previous childcare experience with infants/toddlers (experience with twins is a plus)

- Comfortable caring for multiple young children at once

- Calm, patient, trustworthy, and dependable personality

- Organized, flexible, and able to multitask

- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with a work-from-home parent

- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification)

- Non-smoker

- Reliable transportation

- Clean background check and references required

This is a family-employed position and does not currently include healthcare benefits or paid PTO.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
