Nanny/Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable part-time Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for 2 children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare and a passion for educating and engaging young minds. This role involves not only supervising children but also participating in their daily activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering their development. Our core times of need will be Fridays 10-5 and Wednesdays 10-5, with opportunities for additional times as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Plan and engage in educational and recreational activities that promote learning and development.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks, catering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime. .
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children.
• Administer first aid when necessary, maintaining a calm demeanor in emergencies.

Skills

• Proven experience in childcare or babysitting, demonstrating a strong understanding of child development.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures to ensure the safety of children in your care.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents.
• Patience and adaptability when working with children of varying ages and abilities.
• Creative thinking to develop engaging educational activities that stimulate learning.
• Experience working with children.
