Nanny/Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Nanny/Caregiver to provide exceptional childcare and support within a private home setting. This role involves nurturing children’s growth, ensuring their safety, and assisting with daily routines. The ideal candidate will bring a warm personality, a proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for caring for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. You will play a vital role in creating a positive, engaging environment that promotes development and well-being.

Duties

• Provide attentive childcare for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
• Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and educational activities
• Maintain a clean and organized living space by performing residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning toys, laundry, and general tidying
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing personalized care plans and engaging in appropriate activities
• Offer personal transportation assistance for appointments, outings, or extracurricular activities
• Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure safety at all times
• Engage children in developmental activities that promote learning, social skills, and creativity
• Manage meal preparation with attention to nutrition and safety standards
• Foster a nurturing environment that encourages independence while providing guidance and supervision

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in a nannying or caregiving capacity within private homes or daycare settings
• Demonstrated ability to care for multiple children simultaneously with patience and efficiency
• Experience working with young children preferred.
• Prior toddler care experience, including feeding, diapering, and developmental support
• Knowledge of childcare best practices, including infant care techniques and preschool education methods
• Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications related to caregiving or early childhood education are advantageous
• Strong background in household management tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and light housekeeping related to childcare duties
