Nanny/Caregiver

Nanny Needed

We are seeking a dependable, caring, and responsible nanny to help care for our family during the week.

Schedule:
Part-time, Monday through Friday
Approximately 2pm-5pm (school year) 8am-5pm (summer time)

Location:
Sandpoint

Primary responsibilities include:

• Providing attentive and engaging care for 2 boys aged 9 and 11. Our 11 year old is special needs.
• Transporting children to and from school, activities, or appointments. We have multiple a week for our special needs son. 

• Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children. Oldest has G-tube and all meals are blended.
• Light housekeeping related to the children and daily household routine

• Helping keep children’s rooms, play areas, and common spaces tidy
• Supporting homework, activities, and age-appropriate play
• Helping care for service dog who spends time with oldest son. 

• Maintaining a safe, positive, and dependable environment

Ideal candidate:

• Has previous childcare or nanny experience and is comfortable with special needs.
• Is reliable, patient, organized, and communicative

• Has a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record
• Is comfortable preparing meals and assisting with light household tasks

• Is CPR and First Aid certified or willing to become certified
• Can provide professional and personal references

• Is comfortable with Dog

Compensation:
will depend on experience and qualifications. Between $23-$30/hr

Start date:
September 2026
