Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Nanny/Household Manager to provide exceptional childcare and household support for a busy family of six. This role combines nurturing child-focused care with efficient household management, ensuring a safe, organized, and loving environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. You will play a vital role in supporting the family's daily routines, managing household tasks, and fostering a positive atmosphere for everyone involved.
Duties
- Provide attentive childcare for children of different ages, including infants and preschoolers, ensuring their safety, development, and emotional well-being
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
- Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and developmental exercises aligned with their age groups
- Perform light household chores such as cleaning, laundry, organizing toys and supplies to maintain a tidy living space
- Assist with diapering, feeding, bathing, and other infant/toddler care routines using best practices like first aid when necessary
- Support children with preschool activities and teaching moments that promote learning and social skills
- Manage household schedules including appointments, extracurricular activities, and transportation arrangements
- Work compassionately with children who have special needs or disabilities by implementing appropriate caregiving strategies
Experience
- Proven experience working as a nanny or household manager with children of various ages, especially infants and toddlers
- Knowledge of childcare best practices including first aid certification and emergency response procedures
- Hands-on experience in meal preparation and light housekeeping within a family setting
- Familiarity with working with children who have disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Prior experience in daycare or babysitting roles demonstrating responsibility in child supervision and safety management
- Demonstrated ability to teach or assist with early childhood education activities
- Strong organizational skills to manage household routines efficiently while maintaining a warm, nurturing environment
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
