Need Internal Auditor
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee, review, and prepare budgets for each business department; assist in company-wide budgetary planning.
- Supervise financial staff in day-to-day operations including invoicing, payroll, and financial data tracking.
- Create and maintain strong relationships with banks, service providers, and external auditors.
- Prepare official monthly and annual financial reports.
- Manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and finance planning processes effectively.
- Track and monitor company credit card (CBQ) and online HSBC payment transactions.
- Handle cash management including placement, movement of funds, and bank reconciliations.
- Verify and approve petty cash vouchers and job-related financial entries.
- Review and approve job invoices, cheque prints, credit violations, and ERP-based financial transactions.
- Monitor and analyze cost, productivity, and performance metrics; implement process improvements.
- Conduct random checks on job costing to ensure profitability of freight forwarding and logistics operations.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to streamline processes and achieve management objectives.
- Provide key financial insights and reports to the Managing Director for strategic decision-making.
- Develop and enforce finance policies and procedures, including purchase orders, credit control, and invoicing.
- Manage the annual audit process in coordination with external auditors.
- Ensure accurate budgeting, management accounting, and variance analysis.
- Supervise, guide, and train the finance team to enhance their efficiency and skills.
- Ensure smooth fund flow and timely financial arrangements for business operations.
- Prepare monthly reports on occupancy and business performance, highlighting insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5–6 years of proven experience in finance, internal auditing, or controlling roles.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, auditing standards, ERP systems, and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CIA will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and online banking systems (HSBC, CBQ).
