The After-Hours Support Network and System Administrator is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and ensuring the availability and health of the company’s network and system infrastructure during non-business hours. This includes providing proactive monitoring, opening and managing incidents, performing scheduled maintenance, and escalating critical issues to the appropriate teams as per the defined SLA.

Monitor all network equipment and devices connectivity, as well server health and availability using SolarWinds Orion.

Identify outages or performance degradation and open Jira tickets immediately.

Escalate incidents as incident to the relevant team according to procedures.

Perform basic network maintenance and firmware/security patch updates on Fortinet firewalls and other network devices.

Verify that all critical services are running properly after Windows patching or scheduled reboots.

Ensure change windows are followed and maintenance logs are updated.

Maintain a live incident log during the shift for transparency and handover.

Participate in post-incident reviews as required.

Keep detailed logs incidents and actions performed for review during the following shift.

Experience Level: Entry to Mid-Level (L1/L2)

Basic network troubleshooting (ping, traceroute, VPN checks, etc.)

Experience with Fortinet firewalls

Familiarity with SolarWinds Orion for network/system monitoring or other similar tools.

Experience using Veeam Backup & Replication or other similar tools.

Working knowledge of Windows Server administration

Basic understanding of ticketing systems.
