Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers' various destinations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.

Duties

• Operate vehicles for shuttle driving, delivery, or paratransit services in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers as scheduled.
• Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing routine maintenance checks and reporting any issues.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules, routes, and any delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and the public.
• Assist with lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

Skills

• Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, or bus driving is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is essential.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
• Ability to perform maintenance checks on vehicles and report issues promptly.
• Capability to handle lifting as required by the job duties.
