Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver

• We are seeking a caring reliable individual to fill the position of a non-emergency medical transport driver. This position does require punctuality/reliability. we transport dialysis client's cancer care client's children with autism, counseling and or anything that requires a medical appointment. This position does require compassion. Client and driver safety is key to success in this position. obeying all Rules/laws of the road is required and monitored. We follow (HIPPA) guideline's and maintain security of PHI, Drivers must pass a criminal background check pre-employment drug screen and have a clean driving record with no accidents in the last 5 years. Starting wage for this position is $17.50 per hour for 90 days of employment, after 90 days you will receive a performance-based raise from $0.50 cents to $1.00 and yearly thereafter until you top out. A weekly bonus of $30.00 dollars each week will be added to pay checks if you show up for your scheduled shift. missing a day will void that bonus for that week. All drivers are scored on safety and will be eligible for a $100.00 dollar bonus monthly and best driver of the year will win $1,000 dollars @ Christmas time. Vehicles are provided for this position and must be kept in clean condition with all mechanical issues being reported promptly. If you are taking a vehicle home, you must have safe adequate parking. Responsibilities

• Knock on client doors to announce your arrival.
• Keep a daily log of client information Pickup and drop off times and mileage, must be legible and turned into the office as requested.
• Communicate with dispatch and other drivers as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of your vehicles.
• Attend a once-a-month weekend meeting this is mandatory.
• Communicate with each client in a polite and courteous manner.
• Be helpful to each client on a case-by-case basis. recognizing a need and fulfilling it/ carry a small handbag and hold an elderly or child's hand if needed.
• Be able to follow GPS and follow direction well.
