Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting clients to medical appointments, dialysis centers, physical therapy, and other non-emergency medical destinations. Drivers will provide excellent customer service, ensuring client comfort and safety throughout the journey.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients safely and on time to and from scheduled destinations.
• Help clients enter and exit vehicles, including those using wheelchairs
• Operate and secure wheelchair wheelchair lifts and other mobility devices if needed
• Keep company vehicles clean and well maintained.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.
• Use GPS and company software/apps for navigation and scheduling.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Ensure client confidentiality and HIPPA compliance.

Requirements

• Valid Drivers license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening background check.
• Ability to understand and operate smartphones, GPS, and other relevant technology.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Compassionate and patient attitude toward clients, particularly those with mobility challenges or health conditions.
• 21 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in NEMT or other transportation roles.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or the elderly.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
