Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of vehicles including shuttle buses, limousines, and paratransit vans to transport clients to designated locations.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing excellent customer service throughout the journey.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and healthcare providers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times.
• Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices or luggage, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and passenger information in accordance with company policies.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience as a shuttle driver, delivery driver, bus driver, or in commercial driving roles such as limousine or school bus driving is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with paratransit services or heavy lifting tasks related to passenger assistance is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and safety procedures to ensure optimal vehicle performance.

Pay: $75.00 - $150.00 per day
