Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to maintain vehicles, and a commitment to ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate company cars
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of vehicles by performing regular inspections and necessary maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes in plans.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Perform heavy lifting up to 30lbs as required when loading or unloading passengers That might have walkers or wheelchair.
• Document any incidents or issues that arise during transport to ensure accountability and safety.
• Must be able to complete all the required trainings before the start date.

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed in the course of duties.

Position Details

• Position type: Independent contractor (not an employee). As an independent contractor, you will manage your own schedule and be responsible for filing your own taxes.

What We Provide:

• A compnay provided vehicle for all trips.
• 100% insurance coverage for the company provided vehicle and also share fuel and maintenance costs with drivers.

Pay Structure

• $1.25 per mile driven
• $8 base fee per trip
• Example: For a 15-mile trip, you will earn $26.75.

Potential Earnings

• Your earnings depend on the number of trips and miles driven.
• Drivers completing an average of 8 trips per day can earn approximately $226/day, $1,130/week, or $4,520/month (based on a 5-day workweek).
