Odoo Implementator / Odoo ERP Specialist
Country Location: Nauru Medical Centre, Nauru
Employment Type: [Full-Time / Contract – specify as needed]
Reports To: IT Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary:

Nauru Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Odoo Implementator to lead the deployment, configuration, and optimization of the Odoo ERP system. The role will ensure that all hospital operations—from patient management, HR, finance, inventory, and procurement—are streamlined through Odoo, improving efficiency and data accuracy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand workflows and hospital processes.
  • Document functional requirements and identify process improvements.
  • Odoo Configuration
  • Configure Odoo modules relevant to medical centre operations: Patient Management, Appointments, Accounting, HR, Inventory, Purchase, and Sales.
  • Set up workflows, user access rights, dashboards, and automated reports.
  • Customization & Integration
  • Work with developers to customize modules as required.
  • Integrate Odoo with other software and hospital systems (if necessary).
  • Data Migration
  • Import and validate data from legacy systems to Odoo.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of historical and active data.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Conduct system testing and validation before full deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any configuration or functional issues.
  • Training & Support
  • Train staff on using Odoo efficiently.
  • Provide ongoing support and system updates post-implementation.
  • Documentation
  • Prepare detailed manuals, configuration guides, and process documents for future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience implementing and configuring Odoo ERP (preferably in healthcare or similar sectors).
  • Strong understanding of hospital operations, including HR, finance, inventory, procurement, and patient management.
  • Technical skills in Python, PostgreSQL, and Odoo customization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and training skills to interact with clinical and administrative staff.
  • Odoo certification is a plus.
