Job Description: Head of ERP

  • Lead end-to-end ERP implementation covering requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Manage ERP support across multiple business zones and coordinate with third-party integrations including banks and government entities such as UAE Pass, GDRFA, MOFA, DCAA, Emirates NBD, and WIO Bank.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and facilitate Functional Requirement Specification (FRS) discussions with technical teams.
  • Conduct weekly project update meetings with PMO teams, monitor progress, track milestones, and ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Perform business process analysis and reengineering to align ERP workflows with organizational needs.
  • Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams, conduct weekly knowledge-transfer sessions, and ensure all teams are updated with product enhancements.
  • Organize town hall sessions to communicate newly launched ERP updates and features to internal teams.
  • Identify recurring system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure permanent resolution.
  • Monitor support systems (such as Zoho Desk), ensure SLA compliance, and manage high-priority issues efficiently.
  • Gather and analyze new scope requirements from business stakeholders and convert them into detailed BRDs with field-level details, conditions, workflows, views, templates, and approvals.
  • Communicate requirements clearly to technical teams, validate development outputs, and demonstrate completed features to stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute deployments during low-traffic hours or weekends to minimize impact on system performance.
  • Develop custom reports using Power BI, Crystal Reports, SQL procedures, and built-in reporting tools.
  • Prepare POCs, give software demonstrations, and provide functional leadership during pre-sales discussions when required.
  • Configure ERP, CRM, WMS, PMS, CAFM, POS, and MRP modules as per business needs.
  • Conduct end-user training for Finance, Procurement, Operations, HR, CRM, Property Management, Manufacturing, and other departments.
  • Support on-premise and cloud-based deployments, manage backups, patches, and system updates.
  • Create SQL functions and procedures for advanced analytics and KPI reporting.
  • Manage ERP security, user creation, access control, and authorization settings.
  • Document workflows, functional specifications, and UAT scenarios for stakeholder validation.
  • Maintain strong communication with project managers and business leaders to ensure clarity on project status and deliverables.
