The Administrative Assistant provides clerical support and performs reception duties that support general operations.
Job Duties
- Greet and assist patrons, answer telephones, transfer calls, and take messages
- Represents the agency at community fairs and events, distributes fliers and links attendees to relevant programs
- Perform general clerical functions to assist managerial and program staff
- Handle financial and enrollment transactions for programs and services provided
- Enter data and provide requested reports and summaries
- Assist with managing the library, production lab, and other resources by issuing library cards, checking out books, helping visitors with equipment, and answering general questions
- Assist with retail sales, including sending promotional materials, filling backpacks, taking inventory, and preparing items for mailing
- Distributes mail
- Keeps resource flyers, and bulletin boards up to date throughout the building
- Provide background checks
- Conduct a daily deposit, handle payment transactions
- Provide technical assistance to families seeking childcare or referrals to community resources
- Ensures cleanliness of the kitchen and throughout the common areas
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
