Office Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team and support daily administrative operations. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office environment, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining organized workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Operate 2-line phone system, answer inquiries promptly, and directing calls to the office manager.
  • Manage calendar appointments by scheduling service calls & sales calls using Google calendar.
  • Perform customer data entry using quickbooks & scanning service paperwork to customer's accounts.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Support bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and basic QuickBooks data entry
  • Assist with office management duties including supply inventory and general administrative support to ensure operational efficiency

Experience

  • Office experience or clerical background demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Quickbooks online.
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems and providing excellent customer service in a professional setting
  • Prior experience in roles such as receptionist, personal assistant, or administrative assistant is preferred
  • Knowledge of office management practices including calendar management, data entry, and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks is preferred.

Must like dogs! New office space, flexible, casual environment. Must be able to work more in the summer to cover Manager's vacations as needed. Could potentially turn into a full-time position.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 30.0 per week
