Job Description: Office Helper

Position Overview

The Office Helper plays a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment. This position supports daily operations by assisting with cleaning, pantry management, staff support, guest hospitality, and event arrangements. The role ensures smooth functioning of the office and contributes to a positive workplace atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Office Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Clean and maintain office areas, including workstations, meeting rooms, reception, and common spaces
  • Ensure cleanliness of the pantry, washrooms, and shared facilities
  • Keep all areas tidy, organized, and presentable throughout the day

Pantry Management

  • Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and refreshments for staff and visitors
  • Maintain stock of pantry items and ensure timely replenishment
  • Keep a daily/weekly record of pantry supplies and cleaning materials
  • Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness in the pantry at all times

Staff Support

  • Provide assistance to office staff as needed
  • Serve refreshments during meetings or internal gatherings
  • Support administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and delivering documents when required

Guest Hospitality

  • Welcome guests warmly and offer tea, coffee, or water
  • Ensure guests are comfortable and guided to the appropriate staff or meeting room
  • Maintain a professional and courteous approach at all times

Event Support

  • Assist in arranging and setting up for office events, meetings, and celebrations
  • Help with seating arrangements, refreshments, and basic logistics
  • Ensure the event area is clean before, during, and after the activity

Errands & Logistics

  • Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing storage
  • Run small office errands when required

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Basic communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Good hygiene, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Polite, cooperative, and service-oriented attitude

Reporting To

  • Office Manager / Administrative Officer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
