  • Monitor and manage cash flow; prepare regular cash flow forecasts and ensure timely payments from project owners.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth daily financial operations.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements, dashboards, WIP reports, and KPIs for leadership review.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closeout activities with precision and timeliness.

Project Accounting

  • Partner with project managers to monitor job costs, billings, and overall project profitability.
  • Support project budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, financial regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls to protect company assets.
  • Assist with annual audits and maintain organized financial documentation.

Treasury Management

  • Oversee company bank accounts and transactions.
  • Manage cash flow to support ongoing projects and business operations.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, train, and mentor accounting staff to promote professional growth and efficiency.
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience; construction industry background strongly preferred.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience required.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with FOUNDATION (preferred), SAGE, or Timberline accounting systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Core Competencies

  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and continuous improvement.

Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

  • 2 weeks of PTO (accrued basis)
  • 1 week of paid sick leave
  • 401(k) with 4% company match
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
