JOB PURPOSE


We are seeking a personable, adaptable, and dynamic Employee Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have experience in the HR & Employee Relations function with experience in leading change and building lasting employee relationships within a business, as well as a good understanding of the HR department functions and requirements. The focus of this role is to identify requirements within the department and develop new and innovative ways to reduce staff turnover rates and improve overall morale.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor’s degree is required preferably in business or any related field is a plus.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Act as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding Employee Relations issues, providing timely guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations, conducting investigations and recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Implement initiatives to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Conducting surveys, organizing events, and facilitating feedback channels.
  • Maintain accurate records of Employee Relations cases, investigations, and outcomes, preparing reports and analysis for management review.
  • Manage medical insurance registration for employees.
  • Prepare and maintain attendance reports and handle employee attendance registration.
  • Administer fingerprint system updates, including additions and deletions.
  • Coordinate and process Optometrist license registrations with relevant authorities
