Office Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Office Manager to oversee daily office operations and provide administrative support to our growing engineering team. This role is central to maintaining efficient workflows, supporting project coordination, and ensuring the office runs smoothly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while handling confidential information with discretion.


Key Responsibilities

Office Operations & Administration

  • Manage and organize company files in SharePoint and maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems
  • Oversee office supply inventory and coordinate ordering
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism
  • Develop and maintain efficient administrative processes and procedures

Project & Engineering Support

  • Provide administrative support to two engineers (with anticipated team growth)
  • Assemble and organize packets for land development projects
  • Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of documentation
  • Prepare reports and assist with project-related documentation

Communication & Coordination

  • Manage email correspondence and calendar scheduling
  • Organize meetings and prepare professional presentations using PowerPoint
  • Coordinate company events and team functions as needed
  • Serve as a central point of communication within the office

Industry & Compliance Awareness

  • Stay current on industry news and regulatory/legal updates, particularly within the Central Ohio region
  • Assist in maintaining compliance documentation and records

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in office management or senior administrative support
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate team needs
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
