Office Manager

Our client, a leading asset management and recovery firm located in Manhattan is looking for a Part-Time Temporary Office Manager to join their team. This position will serve for around ~2-3 months and will operate on an in-office schedule between the hours of 9am-6pm, Tuesdays-Thursdays. Compensation is $25-30/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Manage requests to/from building management, office vendors, and service providers
• Support general office operations and maintain office appearance
• Oversee conference room scheduling
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail
• Maintain office inventory; restocking and ordering supplies
• Manage lunches, breakfast orders, and occasional happy hours (guidelines already established)
• Support employees with non-urgent facility/tech needs via new ticketing system
• Provide administrative support to management team and Workforce Operations
• Assist with scheduling & interview coordination (high priority)
• Work closely with Ruth and Molly on daily operations
• Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of office management or administrative experience
• HR experience or interview support is a plus
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Able to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, small-company environment
• Confident, composed, and approachable
