The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic On-Site IT Service Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting incident resolution by engaging with other support teams/groups within IT. You will also act as a representative of IT organization and face the customer on behalf of other IT functions. You will provide Desk Side Support to IT users, for all IT matters requiring physical intervention.
How you’ll make an impact
- Troubleshooting IT related issues that require physical attention
- Delivering computers in a ‘ready to use’ state to IT users
- Providing ad-hoc training to IT users on common IT matters and guide them through self-service tools if required.
- Taking care of physical stock management of devices and accessories including CMDB updates
- Performing regular inventory checks for relevant hardware
- Managing logistics by using local logistic providers to ship and move devices across locations
- Handling of warranty cases in coordination with relevant OEM vendors.
- Identifying and reporting risks that might downgrade OSS service quality
- Providing support to end users, IT equipment, software in meeting rooms and similar user collaboration/common areas as part of desk-side support
- Hosting and supporting third party technicians
- Regular checking of computer rooms including temperature, air conditioning, cabling and general functionality
- Following given OSS governance (participating in meetings, following escalation path, etc.)
- Following OSS procedures defined in Runbook, SOPs, knowledge articles
- Working Onsite to the factory you assigned to full time.
- You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology.
- 2 years of professional experience in IT support
- Have a proactive and solution-oriented mind-set and could work independently and self-driven.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
