OPD Coordinator
Job Specification:
- To serve as resource person in planning, coordinating, directing, and supervising the delivery of outpatient patient services at UMH, aligned to the hospitals vision and its current and long-term business objectives.
- To ensures that all activities in Outpatient services are conducted accurately, ethically, and according to the relevant hospital’s policies, procedures, standards and medico-legal issues as defined by provincial and federal regulatory authority
- To participates in the planning, creation, organization and introduction of new OPD Clinics.
- To supervise the clinics schedules, patient appointment management, patient facilitation, patient complaints, infrastructure maintenance etc.
- To ensure and coordinate with consultants for their availability and leaves. Keep updating HR and Medical Service Department.
- To monitors and controls OPD clinics inventory.
- To Prepares and submits reports on the OPD functions such as consultant attendance, inventory stock, patient attendance, staff activities, or any other report as required by management.
- To collaborates with the reception, billing, nursing and other related team members to ensure high quality client care and billing and financial issues.
- To identifying and facilitate patient’s insurance coverage or other sources of payment for services such as corporate, zakat or donations and make monthly report of expenditures.
- To ensure the compliance of Medico - legal issues in all aspects of operations of OPD as defined by regulatory agencies of provincial and federal government.
- To ensure the compliance with general safety, infection control and customer relations standards, polices, procedure as defined by UMH.
- To work with staff to update and maintain electronic health records as required by UMH Policy pertaining to ambulatory services.
- To collects data from multiple sources, and works with the OPD staff to assess patient needs to improve OPD services.
- To coordinate patients and their families on issues related to consultation/ referral/ inpatient admission.
Eligibility:
Qualification : B.com/BS
Experience : Minimum 4-5 Years experience in Hospital
