Operations Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Logistics

  • Coordinate delivery schedules with drivers and installation teams
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of furniture to customers
  • Track orders from production to final delivery
  • Handle logistics planning and route coordination

Purchasing & Supplier Management

  • Source materials and supplies required for production
  • Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and delivery timelines
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder materials when necessary
  • Maintain purchase records and invoices

Customer Coordination

  • Contact customers regarding delivery updates
  • Follow up on complaints or issues and ensure resolution
  • Coordinate site visits when required
  • Maintain professional communication with clients at all times

General Operations Support

  • Assist factory management with daily operational tasks
  • Prepare reports related to deliveries, purchasing, and operations
  • Maintain proper documentation and records
  • Support workflow improvements and efficiency initiatives

Requirements

  • Previous experience in operations, logistics, or purchasing (Furniture industry experience is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills (English required; Arabic is a plus)
  • Good knowledge of UAE routes and logistics coordination
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting
  • Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
  • Must be organized, responsible, and solution-oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
