The Operation Manager will oversee the overall operations of the construction projects, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company standards and UAE regulations. This role involves leading project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and manage daily construction operations to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Supervise project execution, monitor progress, and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, health & safety regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth workflow.
- Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure resources are used efficiently.
- Review and approve operational reports, schedules, and project updates.
- Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Support the General Manager/CEO in developing operational strategies and achieving company goals.
- Manage and develop project teams, ensuring training, motivation, and performance monitoring.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to maintain strong relationships and resolve concerns.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 10 years in a managerial/operations role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial and project management acumen.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Project Management tools, and construction-related software.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
