Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee daily operational activities and ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing resources, optimizing processes, leading cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall operational activities including maintenance, quality, safety, and logistics
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures
• Optimize productivity, reduce costs, and improve efficiency through process improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Manage budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and supply chain teams
• Lead, train, and mentor supervisors and staff
• Handle troubleshooting, risk management, and problem resolution
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance programs are followed

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of maintenance processes and systems
• Experience in budgeting, cost control, and process improvement
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
