Operations Manager-Civil Engineer

Lead and supervise project managers, engineers, site supervisors, and other technical staff.

Ensure effective workforce management, assigning roles and responsibilities efficiently.

Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks and site operations.

Conduct regular performance evaluations of the technical team and provide training for skill development.

Manage contracts, agreements, and legal documentation related to the projects.

Address any issues that arise during construction, finding practical solutions to keep projects on track.

Ensure proper record-keeping and documentation for audits and compliance.

Oversee planning, execution, and completion of civil engineering projects within deadlines and budgets.

Develop strategies to optimize project efficiency, resource allocation, and risk management.

Conduct regular project reviews to monitor progress, identify challenges, and implement corrective measures.

Handle negotiations and resolve project-related conflicts.

Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, specifications, and schedules.

Oversee and manage all phases of construction and maintenance projects, from planning and design to execution and completion.

Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Oversee the preparation of engineering reports, proposals, and documentation for regulatory approvals.

Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.

Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the team and on job sites.

Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and updates to management

Problem Solving: address any issues that arise during construction, finding effective solutions to keep projects on track.

Qualifications and skill:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Over 8 years of professional experience in the construction and maintenance industry, demonstrating capabilities to manage operations effectively.

Minimum 5years of managerial level expertise in the UAE in the construction and maintenance industry

Strong knowledge of construction methods, maintenance, materials, and legal regulations.

Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferably with SOE license

Valid UAE driving license

Experience with large-scale construction projects.

Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAE
