Operations Manager (Export)

We are looking for a Operations Manager (Export) to oversee and manage all aspects of our export operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and smooth execution of international shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the entire export process from order placement to final delivery.
• Oversee export documentation, customs clearance, and international shipping procedures.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and INCOTERMS.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, clearing agents, shipping lines, and overseas clients.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency in export operations.
• Monitor shipment schedules, track consignments, and resolve operational issues.
• Liaise with production, sales, and finance teams to ensure timely fulfillment of export orders.
• Handle Letters of Credit, banking documentation, and trade finance matters.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international distributors and trade partners.
• Prepare export-related reports and present operational performance to management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Export Manager / Operations Manager (Export) in the manufacturing or export industry.
• Strong knowledge of export documentation, customs clearance, shipping, and trade compliance.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and export documentation software.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in furniture and home appliances export markets.
• Knowledge of global trade policies, tariffs, and export incentives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with international stakeholders.
