Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee all daily operations across our fabrication facility, including the yard, plant & machinery (PMV), and shared operational resources. The ideal candidate will bring strategic leadership and operational expertise to support our ongoing and future projects, ensuring alignment with ASMEF’s growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate seamlessly between Production, Projects, and supporting departments.
• Manage the overall operations, ensuring full compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards. Manage all yard activities by PMV and Facilities.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to provide input on bids and project operational needs.
• Lead asset and facility maintenance, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency.
• Organize and deploy manpower resources across ASMEF and EAI operations.
• Maintain high standards in HSSE compliance across all assets and operations.
• Support all departments to ensure a smooth, synchronized operation across the marine division.
• Develop and enforce procedures for maintenance, safety, and operational excellence.
• Develop productivity enhancement & resources management plans.
• Drive quality management practices in line with ASMEF’s Quality Manual and operating procedures.

Candidate Profile

• 15–20 years of experience in managing oil & gas fabrication facilities.
• Strong background in HSSE standards and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-location operations.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws, yard regulations, and operational compliance.
• Degree or Diploma in an Engineering discipline.
• Professional certifications related to operations, facilities, or safety are an advantage.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
