Seven Zones Travel is looking for a skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily business operations, ensure smooth workflow across departments, and maintain high service standards for our UK-based travel operations. This role requires strong leadership, process management, and travel industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations for UK travel bookings, ticketing, holidays, and customer support.
- Manage and support teams including sales, ticketing, holidays, and customer service.
- Ensure accurate and timely handling of ticket issuance, reissues, refunds, and amendments.
- Maintain service quality, resolve escalated customer issues, and monitor team performance.
- Coordinate with airlines, suppliers, consolidators, and internal departments.
- Implement operational policies, SOPs, and performance standards.
- Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and identify areas for improvement.
- Train and guide staff to ensure compliance with company processes.
- Maintain smooth workflow during peak seasons and manage workforce scheduling.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager in a travel agency (UK market experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GDS systems (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus) and ticketing processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage teams, handle pressure, and maintain operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of UK routes, airline policies, and travel trends.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical and decision-making skills.
