Position Overview:

The Operations Specialist - Cloud Billing will be responsible for working with our extended teams in Cloud Commerce and Zones Cloud platform teams in designing, implementing cloud and software billing operational processes to optimize efficiency with minimal manual intervention. This role will capture the required details for subscriptions and offers and align the required data points to define terms, Billing, Pricing, Subscription Periods, Notification Schedules, Recurring fees, etc. This candidate needs to be able to communicate to multiple people internal and external to the organization. The role needs a keen eye for detail, a passion for process improvement and the ability to think critically in ambiguous situations.

What you’ll do as the Operations Specialist – Cloud Billing:

• Coordinate with key internal stakeholders within Zones regarding automated flow of subscriptions, orders, billing, and pricing
• Designing and implementing cloud and software billing processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy, facilitate automation of billing and customer self-service.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (PPM, CSD, and ZCP) to identify opportunities for automated flow process optimization and minimize manual uplift.
• Analyzing billing data and generating reports to support decision-making and forecasting.
• Ensuring compliance, identifying gaps and proactively executing plan of action.
• Coordinate with key external stakeholders from our manufacturer partners to ensure operational and technical readiness in the Zones Cloud platform
• Implement, develop, and maintain operational processes to drive program success

What you will bring to the team:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree and business, IT – or related field

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• E- commerce experience (subscription order processing, SaaS application order processing)
• Experience with any of the following Subscription Sales and Management SaaS Platforms or Hosting applications, or with any of the Cloud Brokerage Sales, Provisioning, Management platforms is valued; AppDirect, PAX8, Tech-Data StreamOne, SoftwareOne PyraCloud, Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace, iPortalis, ActivePlatform, Cloudmore, Nuvolex, Cloudfx, Aria Systems, Zuora Subscription Billing, Aspera Office 365 Cloud Subscription Management platform
• Finance, accounting, Dynamics AX and CRM are a plus
• Strong Communication skills
• Able to communicate professionally and clearly through all communication forums (i.e. Skype for business, email, and phone).
• Manage escalations in a professional manner
• Reporting
• Weekly, monthly and Ad-hoc reconciliation reporting
• Recurring task management
• Maintain timely rigor for operational processes
• Provide detailed and relevant feedback to leadership
• Ongoing maintenance of documented processes
