Order Taker (Restaurant)

Job Purpose

To accurately take customer orders, process them efficiently, and ensure smooth communication between customers and the kitchen/service team.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers politely and take orders clearly and accurately.
• Record orders in the POS system or order sheet.
• Repeat orders back to customers to confirm accuracy.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
• Answer customer queries regarding menu items, prices, and promotions.
• Handle complaints or forward them to the supervisor/manager.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and deals.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and professional.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or order taking is an advantage.
• Good communication skills (in Urdu and basic English).
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Friendly, polite, and professional attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure during rush hours.
• Team player with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
