OT Scrub Nurse

Prepare and maintain a sterile field in the operation theatre

Perform surgical hand scrub and gowning as per protocol

Arrange, check, and count surgical instruments, sponges, needles, and supplies before, during, and after procedures

Assist surgeons by passing instruments and materials during surgery

Anticipate surgical team needs to ensure smooth operative flow

Monitor sterility and adhere strictly to infection control protocols

Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgery

Participate in surgical safety checklists and time-out procedures

Ensure proper handling and disposal of bio-medical waste

Document surgical procedures and maintain OT records

Assist in post-operative cleanup and preparation for next cases
