Painter

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join a reputable organization in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paints and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and removing old paint.
• Mix and apply paints, varnishes, enamels, and other finishes to various surfaces (walls, ceilings, equipment, structures, etc.).
• Use brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to apply coatings evenly and professionally.
• Interpret work orders, drawings, and specifications to determine required painting tasks.
• Inspect painted surfaces for uniformity and smoothness, and make necessary touch-ups.
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of painting tools and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment to minimize health hazards.
• Work closely with other maintenance and technical teams to complete projects on time.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Technical / Vocational certificate in Painting or related trade (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as an Industrial or Commercial Painter.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques and application methods.
• Ability to mix paints and match colors accurately.
• Familiarity with various types of paints, coatings, and painting equipment.
• Good eye for detail and high-quality finishing.
• Basic communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Locally available in Qatar with valid visa and QID.
