Paralegal

CDH Law PLLC, a law firm based in Syracuse, New York, is seeking to hire a Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join our growing law practice. We’re looking for a candidate who is charismatic and adaptable, who possesses exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and writing skills. Candidates must be sociable, oriented to client-satisfaction, driven to succeed, and cordial to clients, attorneys, staff, and judges. The ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a team is a must. Experience, especially with family law, is a huge plus but we are also willing to train a new employee with a good work ethic, who has exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.

About CDH Law, PLLC: CDH Law, PLLC, founded in 2015 by seasoned former prosecutors, police officers, and veterans, is a growing six-attorney firm in Syracuse, New York, employing four paralegals. We typically employ law student summer interns and have two in-house investigators who assist with cases.

Thanks to our combined 50 years of experience and proven client results, our practice has grown exponentially in the past two years, and we are seeking someone to join our team as we move to the next level.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be resourceful and have exceptional research, writing and organizational skills. Attention to detail and an ability to effectively manage a high volume of matters is a must. Veterans and minorities are encouraged to apply and have a strong record of success with the firm thus far.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Salary: Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience and ability, but we are seeking to hire a person who would justify an hourly wage of $20-$26 per hour. Pay will be commensurate with experience and ability.
