Paralegal

Job Overview
We are a plaintiffs personal injury firm located in the Penn Station area seeking a full time, in office, position.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law. This role requires being able to independently manage a large case load . The Paralegal will support attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings while ensuring that all legal documentation is accurate and complete.

Duties

• Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions.
• Manage case files and ensure proper documentation through effective document management systems.
• Perform document review and analysis to identify relevant information for cases.
• Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
• Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
• Assist with litigation processes by preparing trial materials and exhibits.

Qualifications

• Previous paralegal experience or legal administrative experience is required (At least 5yrs)
• Bilingual Preferred.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures in various fields of law.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
• Strong research skills with experience in legal research methodologies.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
