Part Time Bookkeeper

We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team and support our financial operations. As a Bookkeeper, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting with financial reporting. Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using various accounting software.
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Record journal entries, process accounts payable and receivable, and handle account analysis
• Reconcile balance sheets and perform account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements
• Prepare financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, for internal review
• Support budgeting activities and provide detailed account analysis as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of corporate and non-profit accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of GAAP standards and double-entry bookkeeping methods
• Experience with bank reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis
• Familiarity with governmental accounting procedures and tax regulations is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills; proficiency in 10 key typing is preferred
• Ability to perform complex account reconciliation tasks accurately and efficiently
• Effective communication skills for financial report writing and collaboration with team members
