STATUS: Part-time, hourly (Up to 30 hours/week, 3 month duration)

LOCATION: Bellingham, WA (onsite)

SALARY RANGE: $20.00/ hour

JOB SUMMARY
:


The part time Human Resources Administrator role will support the HR and Talent Team with a variety of tasks including but not limited to: administrative support (filing, organization of employee documents, mail etc.), compliance audits, healthcare audits, recruitment support, interview scheduling, and related tasks. The ideal candidate is looking to gain experience in the human resources industry and has a passion for people and strong organizational skills. This role will play an integral part in the success of the human resources and talent team, ensuring deadlines and customer satisfaction are met and held to high standards.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
:

  • Operate within our mission driven culture.
  • Light recruitment: support the talent team with interview scheduling, candidate communication, job posting, resume review, etc.
  • Compliance: employee handbook updates, I9 compliance, employee document storage, benefit records, and related.
  • Administrative: filing, organizing, copies, mail sorting, data entry, etc.
  • Willing to learn new skills and develop essential human resource acumen.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High interest in human resources and people management.
  • Must be able to operate in a confidential manner at all times.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners, in writing and verbally (in-person, over the phone, on conference calls).
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enrolled in a human resource professional program or related.
  • Experience with any HRIS.
  • Experience with experience with tasks that require an eye for detail, such as checking reports, running calculations, audits, etc.

Licensing & Special Requirements

  • Incumbent is subject to a criminal background check.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Most of the work is performed in an office environment. Sitting or standing for long periods may be required.
