Part Time Nanny

Part Time Nanny/Family Assistant - Bronxville, NY

Schedule: The family are guaranteeing 20 hours per week. They are looking for three days per week from 2:00pm-7:30pm. They are completely flexible as to which three days the nanny would like to work between Monday-Friday.

Pay: $35-40ph DOE paid through payroll and guaranteed hours. Benefits include paid vacation, personal/sick days, federal holidays paid and off.

Start Date: March 2nd is the ideal start date but flexible for the right fit.

Children: 5yo boy and 8yo girl. The kiddos are happy, healthy, very easy going and love to play!

This warm, welcoming family is seeking a mature, capable nanny and family assistant to support their two children, ages 8 and 5, and help keep the household running smoothly. The children are happy, healthy, active, and genuinely very easy to get along with. They enjoy school, activities, making friends, and while they are well behaved, they benefit from a caregiver who can provide clear structure, gentle direction, and consistent encouragement to follow household rules. The ideal nanny is loving and caring, but confident in managing children and setting expectations, not overly relaxed or a pushover.

The role includes school pickups, driving to activities, preparing simple and nutritious meals for the children, and managing routines. The nanny will also provide light homework support, helping work through questions. This position is well suited to someone who is comfortable putting together basic meals independently and does not need step by step guidance to handle everyday tasks in a home.

The family is looking for someone who understands how a home functions as a whole and can assist in a thoughtful, intuitive way. This includes light family assistant duties such as running occasional errands, bringing in packages, helping with laundry, and tackling small organizational projects as needed. The have support from household staff such as cleaners, so this role is focused on day to day flow rather than deep cleaning or heavy household management.

The ideal candidate has a natural sense of awareness and initiative. If something needs attention, such as laundry piling up or a routine falling behind, they are comfortable stepping in without being asked. The family values trust, autonomy, and a no micromanagement environment, and they are seeking someone who can be shown something once and carry it forward with confidence. Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 3 years professional childcare experience
• Reliable personal vehicle.
• Non-smoker
• Lives within a 45-minute commute to southern Westchester
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
