Parts & Equipment Buyer

Job Purpose and Impact

The Parts & Equipment Buyer will support the North America Food & Agriculture businesses sourcing activities. In this role, you will execute complex procurement tasks to support the regional category strategies.

Key Accountabilities

• Execute medium and highly complex sourcing events.
• Drive the implementation of regional sourcing decisions.
• Provide inputs to the regional category team for category strategy development and execution.
• Provide comprehensive understanding of regional stakeholder and procurement landscape.
• Monitor continuous regional supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Follow established procedures to select suppliers for procurement of materials, goods, services and supplies.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of procurement work experience
• Negotiation experience
• Experience creating procurement or category strategies

Position Information

This is a hybrid position with the flexibility to work from Wichita, Kansas or Wayzata, Minessota

Compensation

The expected salary for this position is $62,000 – 80,000.
