Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and experienced Pastry Chef who specializes in healthy desserts and has strong knowledge of keto baking. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting delicious, visually appealing pastries that align with dietary goals such as low-carb, sugar-free, and calorie-controlled nutrition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present a variety of healthy desserts, including low-calorie, sugar-free, gluten-free, and keto pastries
- Develop innovative recipes using alternative ingredients
- Design and update dessert menus in line with health and diet trends
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
- Monitor inventory and manage ingredient sourcing
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness
- Collaborate with nutritionists or kitchen team to meet dietary guidelines
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff when required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a health-focused or diet restaurant
- Strong knowledge of keto baking and alternative ingredients
- Creativity and attention to detail in presentation
- Understanding of nutritional principles and dietary restrictions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
