To perform patient administration, medical insurance, billing and cash management services in line with quality standards and company policies

  • Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and efficiently processed to maintain patient flow.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, obtaining necessary pre-authorizations to prevent billing issues and ensure patients receive timely care.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and managing appointment reminders to optimize clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations while updating patient information in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Handle patient inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues related to billing, appointments, and general healthcare information.
  • Process patient payments, manage accounts receivable, and reconcile daily transactions to maintain accurate financial records and minimize outstanding balances.
  • Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies, following up on denied claims to ensure timely reimbursement and minimize financial losses.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other departments to ensure seamless patient care coordination, addressing any needs or concerns.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
  • Adhere to established clinic policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
