AGS Management is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Payroll, Billing & Expense Analyst to join our Dubai office. This key position is responsible for managing the accuracy of vendor billing and payroll, while also providing critical oversight of company expense tracking, and financial reporting . The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Time Sheet Management
- Process payroll with precision, cross-referencing timesheets and guard hours to ensure every employee is paid accurately and on time.
- Maintain comprehensive payroll records and provide reports for audits and compliance.
Billing & Vendor Payments
- Review and process all vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy against contracts, and preventing overbilling by double-checking charges with supporting documents.
- Maintain a clear log of payments, invoices, and approvals.
Expense Tracking & Card Management
- Track all company card transactions — who spent, how much, and for what purpose.
- Monitor company spending habits and identify unnecessary or duplicate charges.
- Ensure every payment and expense is properly labeled, categorized, and reported.
- Manage subscriptions and recurring payments, ensuring they are still valid and cost-effective.
- Double-check every major transaction for accuracy before approval.
Financial Oversight & Advising
- Provide regular reports showing where company money is going and how it is being used.
- Highlight unusual charges or spending trends and bring them to management’s attention.
- Recommend cost-saving strategies and better financial practices.
- Work closely with the Finance Manager to support budget planning and forecasting.
Reporting & Compliance
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on payroll, billing, and expenses, providing clear financial summaries to support management’s decision-making. Advise leadership on potential cost-saving strategies and improved financial practices.
- Ensure all processes follow company financial policies and compliance standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3–8 years of experience in payroll, billing, or financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of expense tracking, card management, and budget control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting/payroll software, and financial reporting tools.
- High attention to detail with the ability to spot unusual charges.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken).
- Ability to analyze data and advise on financial improvements.
- Ability to work night shift (UAE time zone) aligned with Los Angeles.
