JOB TITLE

Payroll Specialist | MAF Global Solutions | People & Organization


ROLE SUMMARY

The Payroll Specialist ensures the accurate, compliant, and efficient delivery of payroll services for assigned clients. This role leads payroll operations, manages system processes, and supports strategic initiatives to enhance payroll accuracy, automation, and employee satisfaction. A key contributor to compliance and process improvement, the Payroll Specialist acts as a subject matter expert and a leader within the payroll function.


ROLE PROFILE

  • Oversee related transactions such as transfers, promotions, and data changes in HCIS (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Identify opportunities for system automation and implement enhancements to reduce manual intervention.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions, including promotions, transfers, bonuses, and terminations, are captured and reconciled.
  • Manage payroll taxation and social security processes, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Implement action plans to improve productivity, accuracy, and the overall effectiveness of payroll operations.
  • Collaborate with HC, Finance, and external stakeholders to resolve payroll issues and enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide mentorship and training to Payroll Associates, fostering professional growth and development.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and human capital services.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HCIS platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in managing payroll for the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia regions is preferred.
  • Certifications in payroll management or HRIS systems (e.g., CPP, HRIS certifications) are an advantage.
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
